SWIMMING
Building swimmers, friendships, and confidence
in the pool.
Whether your swimmer is ready to experience swim team for the first time or wants to continue building strength, endurance, and technique, The Rec offers opportunities to keep growing in the pool.
Swimming at The Rec
The Rec offers opportunities for swimmers to continue developing their skills beyond swim lessons. Whether your swimmer is looking to build endurance and technique through Swim Conditioning or take the next step into team swimming with our summer Tigersharks, there’s an opportunity to keep growing in the water.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
We believe swimming should be positive, encouraging, and fun. Our goal is to help every swimmer grow at their own pace while building confidence, sportsmanship, teamwork, and a lifelong love of the water.
SWIM CONDITIONING
Swim Conditioning gives swimmers structured practices focused on improving technique, building endurance, and developing speed. It’s a great next step for swimmers who want to continue progressing in the water and work toward more advanced swimming.
Swimmers are grouped by ability so they can work toward age- and skill-appropriate goals while developing the skills needed to progress toward competitive swimming.
This is a recurring monthly program – join anytime!
SUMMER SWIM TEAM
Our summer swim team gives young swimmers the opportunity to build skills, confidence, and a deeper love for swimming in a fun team environment.
Swimmers practice together, develop all four strokes, learn starts and turns, and have the opportunity to compete in swim meets throughout the summer. Our focus is on skill development, teamwork, confidence, and having a great experience in the water.
