A voting member is defined by a donation of at least $5,000. Bequests through wills and donations from the departed are welcomed.
All funds contributed to the Trust are invested, and earnings have been given to the Paris YMCA since 1983. After the new name of The Rec, the Trust continues to give. In 2018, the foundation name was changed to the Paris Recreational Endowment Trust.
